Numerous winter activities in the region around Schladming invite you to enjoy. Whether starting with enjoyable skiing, directly with us in Haus im Ennstal, the easternmost entrance to the 4-mountain ski area with the ski mountains Hauser Kaibling, Planai, Hochwurzen and Reiteralm or slower activities such as snowshoeing, ice skating at the artificial ice rink in Haus im Ennstal, a visit to the Dachstein or a horse-drawn sleigh ride - the region has something to offer for everyone.
At the foot of the Dachstein, in the neighboring village of Ramsau (15 minutes away by car), numerous cross-country ski trails and winter hiking paths also await you. If you want it a little faster, you should definitely grab a toboggan and jet down into the valley via one of the two toboggan runs on Hochwurzen or Galsterbergalm.
Ski school & children's slopes
Our local ski school Haus im Ennstal awaits children and adults with an extensive range of courses. Here, beginner children, little piste hooligans and adult ski sliders are well looked after.
On the neighboring mountain Planai / Schladming there is since the winter of 2018/19 a great ski children's land - the Hopsiland. The Hopsigondola takes you directly into the skiing fun, always with the Dachstein in view.
Excursion program
At the hotel we organize a varied excursion program for you every week. Hiking guide Stefan will take you with snowshoes to the hidden natural treasures of the Schladminger Tauern, coachman Franzi will drive you with his Noriker horses through the snowy winter landscape and show you his farm afterwards. You are also welcome to join our animal feeding.
