The small Galsterberg family ski resort with its unique Gallic ski village is an insider tip when it comes to skiing holidays with children. Skiing fun of a somewhat different kind awaits you here on your skiing holiday!
Skiing pleasure away from the hustle and bustle of the large ski mountains
The pleasant Galsterberg ski area makes it easy for parents to have a relaxing ski holiday with active kids.
The five slopes are small enough to be manageable for young skiers out on their own.
The training piste on the Vorderkar, with its permanent race track, is one of the most beautiful ski runs in the entire Schladming-Dachstein skiing region. Compete against your children and friends on our fixed and daily freshly prepared race track.
There is also plenty on offer for family members who do not ski:
Toboggan fun day and night
Speed your way down the 5km-long, fully-lit toboggan run into the valley. Toboggans can be hired at the valley station or at Bottinghaus. It is possible to make your way up with the cable car during the day using the Ski amadé ski pass at no extra cost. Every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, there is night operation of the toboggan run, available from 7pm until 9.45pm. This fun really shouldn’t be missed!
Galsterberg winter hiking trail
A prepared, easy-to-walk winter hiking route leads through the enchanting natural landscape and offers magnificent views over the Enns valley.
The Galsterberg ski resort in Pruggern is approx. 15 minutes by car from Bliem's Familienhotel. Your Ski amadé ski pass is also valid here.
