The weather review of the last years shows that October is the perfect time for your family hiking vacation. An often deep blue distant view on the mountains, no more heat but still many lukewarm days, the thunderstorm season is over and many great days for your excursions await you. And if it does rain? Well then your children are well taken care of with us in the Donki Club, while the parents can spend deeply relaxed time together in the wellness area.

Our family hiking guide Hannes is on duty for you throughout the autumn vacations and will take you to the most beautiful autumnal spots in the region. There is also an extensive family activity program with slackline workshops, archery and sunrise hikes.

And if Frau Holle gets lost for a short time in October? Well, then we build snowmen on the mountain and chill out in the afternoon in the spa area for adults only or in the indoor pool with family sauna.

In addition, during the autumn vacations, numerous excursion options are open for FREE with the Sommercard: Planai cable car, Dachstein cable car, zoo Mautern, adventure pool Schladming, Seewigtalstraße, Stoderzinkenstraße and many more!
